It is this time of the month again where SmallWorld, Emerald HUB and Comm.ON are organising a new Startup Party. On the Friday 9th December 2016 from 6PM to 9PM, Emerald HUB will host the December edition of the event.
What? You’ve never heard of Startup Parties? A Startup Party is an informal meeting of like-minded people who are excited about building small business startup and a useful startup community. Every 2nd Friday of the month, a Startup Party is to take place.
Each startup, entrepreneur, investor, student is invited to join. The purpose of the event is to share business ideas or ambitions. That’s why, before the serious part starts, everyone will have the opportunity to speak and to explain in 1min who he is, what he is doing and what he is looking for.
As some startups are already looking for investment and mentorship opportunity, we will organize for the first time a real Pitch Session during the Startup Party. A few startups will perform a pitch during 5 minutes before answering some questions from the audience.
Finally, the event will turn into a real party where networking and having fun will be the master words. Come along and you’ll enjoy so much more than snacks and drinks but a friendly community which is building up.
